Genie Knuckle Boom Lift

Genie Knuckle boom lifts are strong four wheel steering and four wheel drive capable equipment which allow work to be completed effectively, even if the terrain is rough. The ALC 1000 electronic controls are a menu-based system which allows the user to easily calibrate the machine and its parts. System diagnostics are available in many languages. There are dual fuel options available on the Z-80/60 unit. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is turbocharged, but quiet. It allows for improved performance at higher altitudes. It also carries more than enough torque for better grade-ability and terrain.

The 4-wheel drive ability and full-time positive traction adds improved traction for tough terrain. The Z-135/70 only offers four-wheel steering. Optional features on this particular unit comprise crab, coordinated, front wheel, and rear wheel steering to give the machinery added agility. on the Z-80/60 helps improve wheel contact on uneven ground. All of these features make Genie Knuckle Boom lifts smoother and easier to operate on irregular terrain.

Genie's engine-powered articulating Z-booms are bigger than any other Genie models. They feature a continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs which are designed to give the user a much better reach and range of motion. The design of the Z-boom gives the units exceptional over and up positioning capability that varies from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 unit. The XChassis expanding axle is an innovatively engineered device utilized for extending and retracting axles out and in of stowed position. The width of the Z-135/70 model machinery is just 2.46 meters if the axle is stowed. For easier transport, the Z-80/60 has fixed width axles.
