Doosan Large Capacity Forklifts

Forklifts are crucial tools used in industries today. Companies which utilize forklifts have to understand their significance, their functional needs, and the safety concerns involved in forklift operation. Forklifts are really a good investment which could increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace.

Significance
Forklifts are a very effective way to transport product. They are a modern way to move products and supplies in a wide range of settings. Forklifts are used to move objects which are bulky and heavy that would otherwise have to be transported manually in smaller units.

Function
The racks of the lift truck can often reach as high as 9 to 12 meters allowing for the efficient use of maximum storage capacity inside numerous retail or warehouse stores. The forks move down and up by a telescopic hydraulic cylinder on the lift truck mast. Various sets of hydraulic cylinders are used to tilt the mast and shift it to the side, for positioning. A telescopic hydraulic cylinder is an attachment that allows an even higher lift through the use of a hydraulic cylinder system that functions a lot like a telescope. Each and every section slides inside the other like sections of a telescope.

Features
Separate levers control the up and down, side shift and tilt. To raise the forks, the operator pulls back on the down and up lever. To lower the forks, the operator pushes the lever forward. Tilt the load back by pulling back the lever, push it forward to tilt the load forward. The side shift lever controls the forks right and left movement. Unlike automobiles, forklifts steer from the back tires. This permits the lift truck to turn in a really small radius. The forward and reverse controls of the transmission are found on the steering column.
