Aisle Types
Narrow Aisle and Wide Aisle lift trucks are classed due to the kinds of aisles they have been designed to work in. These machinery are able to turn in an aisle, whilst Very Narrow Aisle trucks really don't turn within the aisle. There are several aisle widths to consider with various models.
Very Narrow Aisle trucks could operate in less than 6 feet places, whereas several will use certain guidance systems like optical, rail or wire systems in order to travel in the aisles. Several different models of VNA trucks include Swing Masts, Order Selectors and Turret Trucks. These are popular kinds in compact retail spaces and in several storage and warehouse situations.
Narrow Aisle or NA trucks are able to operate in aisles which are 8 feet to 10 feet. Normally these are stand-up units like Reach Trucks. They are commonly utilized in storage facilities and warehouses.
Wide Aisle Standard forklifts fall into this truck category and are designed to work in aisles that are more than 11 feet wide.
Stand-Up Ergonomics
The stand-up ergonomics include "Ergomat" padding with a sloped floorboard which is made to reduce operator exhaustion by absorbing vibration. The operator compartment is large and has an 8" low step height that helps lessen overall body exhaustion by easing frequent exit and entry. The model consists of polyurethane steer tires to absorb vibration and shocks caused by uneven floor in order to enable smooth traveling. For added comfort, there is a cushioned armrest and floor mat along with a backrest designed to help keep drivers comfortable and hence more productive while limiting fatigue.
