Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and developed such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
