End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machines have superior performance characteristics that are quite comparable to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications which require frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
Numerous companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading devices can arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a way which is both efficient and safe.
The basic reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
