Yale developed and introduced an innovative electronically controlled transmission. This equipment greatly lessens brake and tire wear for our ICE forklift customers. For our electric forklifts, Yale has applied a specific system to recapture energy into the truck during the lowering of loads and during braking. This energy can then be utilized again. This specific process greatly lessens the overall energy consumption of the model.
Yale has been able to apply lots of innovative engineering methods that have helped to reduce the vehicles non-productive energy. These methods have helped to improve its drive train efficiency, hydraulic system efficiency and weight reduction. There are still pending patents on the drive train efficiency.
