By 1912, Case had become established within the construction machinery business. The rapidly started to manufacture road building equipment like graders and steam rollers. Case grew their construction machinery company through different acquisitions, starting with the American Tractor Corporation during the year 1957. Case had expanded their company by the mid-1990s to become the top maker of medium-sized to light-sized construction machinery.
Case merged with the company New Holland in 1999 and together they became CNH Global. This company became responsible for marketing several of the leading brands of agricultural and construction machines in the world.
